Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your Talking Health account and the personal data associated with it. Talking Health is provided by DNR TECHNOLOGY LIMITED.

You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time, subject to the limited exceptions set out below.

How to request account and data deletion

To request deletion of your Talking Health account and your associated personal data, please follow these steps:

  1. Send us an email to admin@dnrtechnology.co.uk, ideally from the email address registered to your Talking Health account.
  2. Let us know it's a deletion request, a short note such as "I'd like to delete my Talking Health account".
  3. Include a few details in the email so we can locate and verify your account:
    • the full name on your account;
    • the email address and/or phone number registered to the account;
    • whether you want all erasable data deleted, or only specific categories (e.g. profile data only).
  4. Verification. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we proceed. This is to protect your account from unauthorised deletion requests.
  5. Confirmation. Once your request has been processed, we will email you to confirm what has been deleted and what (if anything) has been retained, together with the reason for any retention.

We will respond to and action your request without undue delay.

Data that will be deleted

On a verified deletion request, we will close your Talking Health account and erase the personal data we hold about you in our live systems, including:

  • Account information — your login credentials (password), account preferences, and the name, email address and phone number stored against your live account profile;
  • Profile and health-related data — any profile information, health records and other data you have created or provided within the app.

Where the same details (for example your name or email address) appear on records we are required to keep, such as invoices or receipts, they will remain on those specific records as part of our financial history. See Data that may be retained below.

Data that may be retained

In some cases we may need to keep certain information even after you ask us to delete your account. We will keep only the minimum data necessary, and only for as long as needed. This may include:

  • Payment and transaction records — invoices, receipts and transaction history that we need to keep for tax, accounting and financial purposes;
  • Records needed to comply with a legal obligation — for example, to respond to a request from a regulator, court or other authority;
  • Records needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims — for example, in connection with a dispute or contractual obligation;
